Copyright and takedowns
How to tell us about content that infringes your rights, and what happens next.
Last updated October 23, 2026
1. Our approach
We respect intellectual property and expect our users to. Videos made in Reellytic are private to the account until the creator publishes them to YouTube or Instagram, where those platforms’ own copyright processes apply. We can still act on content stored in or produced through Reellytic when we receive a valid notice.
2. Reporting infringement
If you believe content in Reellytic infringes your copyright, email legal@reellytic.com with:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the work you say was infringed, and where we can see it;
- a description of the material you say infringes, and enough detail (an episode link or name, the account if you know it) for us to find it;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages. If you are unsure whether something infringes, consider speaking to a lawyer first.
3. What we do
- We review the notice, and if it is complete, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the account holder.
- We may share the notice, with your contact details, with the account holder.
- If the material was already published to YouTube or Instagram, you may also need to report it there. We cannot remove content on another platform.
4. If your content was removed
If you believe a notice was wrong or you have permission to use the material, email legal@reellytic.com with a counter-notice including:
- your name, contact details and signature;
- a description of the removed material and where it was;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address and will accept the complaining party’s legal process.
We forward the counter-notice to the complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Used credits are not refunded in that case. See the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
6. Trademarks and other concerns
For trademark, privacy, impersonation or likeness concerns, email legal@reellytic.com. For other abuse, see the Acceptable Use Policy.
