Acceptable Use Policy
Make the stories you want, as dark or as strange as fiction deserves. Just keep them safe, lawful and fair to real people.
Last updated October 23, 2026
1. The idea
Reellytic is for telling stories: mystery, horror, comedy, romance, sci-fi, kids’ stories, history and drama. Fiction can be dark, strange and surprising. This policy draws the lines around what we will not make or help publish. It applies to your ideas, the text and images you provide, and everything Reellytic produces for you.
2. Never allowed
We will remove the content, close the account and, where the law requires, report it to the authorities:
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or fictional, drawn or described.
- Sexually explicit content in general. Reellytic is not an adult-content studio.
- Real-world violence or terrorism: content that promotes, instructs or praises it, or recruits for violent groups.
- Instructions for serious harm, such as weapons, dangerous chemicals, self-harm or suicide methods.
- Illegal activity: fraud, scams, malware, or anything else unlawful where you live or where it is published.
3. Real people
- Do not use a real person’s name, face, likeness or voice to make them appear to say or do something they did not, without their clear permission. That includes celebrities, politicians and private individuals.
- Do not make content meant to deceive people about real events, elections, public health or emergencies.
- Do not harass, threaten, demean or target anyone, or promote hatred of people for who they are, including race, religion, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability or age.
- Do not share someone’s private information or make content intended to expose or shame a real individual.
Historical figures and obviously fictional characters are fine in stories, but do not present invented quotes or events as true.
4. Dark themes and young audiences
- Horror is welcome. Keep it to dread, not gore: no graphic cruelty, torture or realistic injury for shock value. Our Writer is instructed this way, and we may reject content that goes too far.
- Stories for children must be suitable for children. Do not make content aimed at young viewers that includes frightening, violent, sexual or hateful material, or that encourages dangerous behavior.
- Do not glorify self-harm, eating disorders or dangerous challenges, even in fiction.
5. Other people’s work
- Do not upload or ask us to copy copyrighted characters, artwork, music or scripts you do not have rights to, or imitate a living artist’s style to pass work off as theirs.
- Do not use another brand’s or person’s trademarks or identity to mislead people.
If you think your work has been copied, see our copyright policy.
6. Publishing
- Follow the rules of the platform you publish to, including YouTube’s Community Guidelines and policies on altered or synthetic content, and Instagram’s Community Standards.
- Label content as AI-generated where a platform or the law requires it (see our AI disclosure).
- Do not use Reellytic to spam, run mass-produced low-effort channels designed to game recommendation systems, or mislead viewers with clickbait that the video does not deliver.
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
7. Protecting the service
- Do not try to bypass credits, approvals, spending limits, rate limits or content checks.
- Do not attack, probe, overload or scrape the service, or share access to your account.
- Do not use prompts or files designed to make the AI ignore its instructions or reveal other users’ data.
8. What happens if rules are broken
We may use automated checks and human review. Depending on how serious the issue is, we may decline to generate a request, remove content, disconnect a connected platform, restrict features, suspend or close the account, and, where the law requires, report it. Used credits are not refunded for content removed for breaking these rules. We will explain our decision when we can, and you can reply to appeal.
9. Reporting a problem
If you see something that breaks these rules, or think we made a mistake, email legal@reellytic.com with the details. For urgent safety concerns, contact local emergency services first.
